Mood Board

This is my mood board i created to express the theme of ny film and some of the props that will be used throughout the film.
The houses in the top right shows that it will be set in a house.
The neighborhood in the bottom left also represents setting.
The carrots, highlighters, bin bag, knife and newspaper represent the props that will be used.

Production Company

My production comapny name is district productions. we chose this name because the word district links to neighbourhood and our film opening is set in a neighbourhood.

This screenshot is when i was making the logo using powerpoint. I got the image from clip art and changed the colours to make it my own.

Character Profiles

Malcolm (the child)

Malcolm is the child, he is wearing a shirt and trousers to suit what a typical child would be wearing in America.

 

Miss Vicini

 

 

This is the main character of the film. She is the daughter of Mr Vicini and is the murderer in the film. She is wearing a red jumper to represent, danger and blood.

 

 

Mr Vicini

This is Mr vicini he is the father of Miss Vicini. He is wearing black and white to represent an everyday formal suit.

 

 

 

Conventions of Horror

Setting

 

• Urban environments, dark streets and narrow, dark alleyways.
• Abandoned houses, hotels and dungeons/jails.
• Lakes, barns, dark woods, subways.

 

 

 

 

Narrative

Always a hero, a protagonist, a man or girl. Usually the hero must be there to take part in a mission or to solve problems.  There is usually an even that turns the killer insane , or by some childhood issues or bad memories.
